2715158 Ontario Limited (“POA Registry”) provides software solutions designed to enable secure and private communication between individuals, clients (whether engaged in a solicitor-client relationship or not), substitute-decision-makers, capacity evaluators, health care providers/institutions, financial organizations/advisors, emergency services, agents, lawyers, researchers and/or other software companies in need of capacity evaluations (such as a Power of Attorney registry or legal documents requesting a capacity evaluation prior to signing), capacity related solutions, and/or capacity education. 

The POA Registry platform was built around maximizing security and protection of privacy while promoting accessible information where consented to. All client information/data collected and stored will be stored in POA Registry’s secure cloud. 

To guard against possible breach of personal information stored and/or used from POA Registry’s cloud, all documents are encrypted using military grade encryption. The encryption keys are kept private and secure such that no agent outside of the POA Registry can ever decrypt or read personal information. All users of POA Registry are protected with Multi-Factor Authentication to prevent any unauthorized access. Therefore, even if the POA Registry devices were to be compromised, or the data were to be intercepted enroute, no encrypted client information would be accessible. 

References to “personal information” include both your personal information and the personal information of another person that you are providing to the website.
